ATST SOLAR TELESCOPE
GOMETEGUI has manufactured the structure for the dome of the ATST– Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope, the largest in the world today, at the top of the Haleakala volcano in Hawaii.
We are taking part in this project through our customer, the Basque engineering company IDOM.
DYNALAB
The Dynamic Nacelle Testing Laboratory, known as DyNaLab, manufactured by Gometegui and designed by IDOM Engineering was inaugurated in Germany in 2015.
This laboratory is used within the wind industry by turbine manufacturers to test them before they are installed.
Gometegui was in charge of manufacturing several critical components of the installation and large tonnage.
LEA LABORATORY (CENER)
The Wind Turbine Test Laboratory (LEA) is an infrastructure dedicated to the testing of components and complete wind turbines. In addition, it complements the research work of CENER in the field of wind energy.
GOMETEGUI has collaborated with the LEA carrying out construction advisory work, contributing its knowledge to solve construction details, and as a partner in the manufacture and assembly of testbeds for wind turbines.
