WELDING PROCESSES

Since March 2021, Gometegui Industrial, S.L. has been certified in the UNE-EN ISO 3834-2:2006 standard.

The scope of this standard qualifies the company for the manufacture of welded metal components in the hydroelectric, wind power, naval, aeronautical, mining, chemical, petrochemical, steel, cellulose, cement, nuclear and defence sectors.

The main objective of EN ISO 3834 (previously EN 729) certification is to ensure that manufacturers are competent and perform an adequate control of the special welding process. This way, the customer can be confident that their welded products will meet the agreed requirements for welding in terms of quality.

Additionally, the EN ISO 9001 standard defines the quality requirements for the efficient control of welded constructions.

MANUFACTURING QUALITY

The EN ISO 1090 standard guarantees the manufacturing quality and safety of products from manufacturers in the metal sector, including metal structures.

Manufacturers must certify their products with the mandatory CE marking in order to comply with the market requirements.

Verus Certificación Company has been the entity in charge of issuing the certification of Gometegui Industrial in these two standards.
