STRUCTURE OF THE DOME FOR THE
ATST SOLAR TELESCOPE

GOMETEGUI has manufactured the structure for the dome of the ATST– Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope, the largest in the world today, at the top of the Haleakala volcano in Hawaii. We are taking part in this project through our customer, the Basque engineering company IDOM.
PROVIDED SOLUTIONS:
The manufacture of the metal structure was carried out within 30 weeks, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality requirements.
