Manufacturing of several stern rollers for the Naval industry in Norway.

This component is designed to allow the transport of heavy objects, such as chains or anchors, without damaging the stern of the ships.

Each of them weights more than 110 tons and has dimensions greater than 6 meters long and 4 in diameter.

PROVIDED SOLUTIONS:

Gometegui collaborated with the customer from the engineering phase in the manufacturing of these components. The Company contributed to the project with its knowledge advising from the manufacturing process to the packing phase.

Various dimensioning tests, ultrasound or penetrating liquids tests, among others, were carried out to ensure the final quality of the components.
